My wife and I moved to Oakdale in February of 2007. We came from the West in search of our "American Dream" to start a family. We believe we have found just that, in Oakdale. We now have two beautiful daughters ages 1 & 2 and are looking foward to many happy years here. I recently became a member of the Oakdale Civic Association and look foward to meeting my neighbors at the monthly meetings!

I read the Assoc. report on the possiblity of either stop signs or a traffic light at the intersection of Waterford Rd and Oakdale/Bohemia Rd. I am a resident here for over 37 years and live off of Waterford Rd. To all your member and our neighbors on the other side of the tracks, please do not deter the Town from taking any action to stop and slow down the traffic at that intersection. My neighbors and I travel by way of this intersection several times a day, and it is a disaster waiting to happen. I hope our neighbors to the south of us will support the Town if they decide to put a traffic light or stop signs here. Thank you.
