community-wide cleanup
The Oakdale Civic Association is proud to partner with Save the Great South Bay for a community-wide cleanup on October 25 from 10am to 12pm. We will be cleaning litter around Byron Lake, the Oakdale LIRR stop, and a baseball field in North Oakdale.

HARROW SCHOOL OPENS IN FALL
Harrow School, the alma mater of Sir Winston Churchill and Lord Byron, is opening its first chapter in the United States, becoming the most prominent UK boarding school to plant its flag across the pond.
Sixty students from grades 6 through 10 will join the school in September.
